Grading & Excavation in Charlotte, NC

Grading and excavation is where a cleared lot actually becomes buildable. Ground that looks flat rarely is, and even a couple inches of slope in the wrong direction sends water right at a foundation or under a driveway. Our job is to move the dirt around so that doesn't happen. We cut the high spots, fill the low spots, and pitch the finished surface so water runs where it's supposed to.

We handle building pads, driveway grading, drainage swales, foundation dig-outs, utility trenches, pond excavation, and pad prep for barns, shops, and outbuildings across Charlotte and the surrounding counties. On tight residential lots we run compact equipment; on bigger sites we bring in dozers and full-size excavators. Either way we shoot grade as we go, not once at the end and hope for the best.

If you've got engineered plans, we work off those. If you don't, we can work from a scope you and I hash out on the walk-through: where the pad sits, how the water needs to move, what elevation the driveway ties into. You'll know what we're doing before the first bucket comes off the trailer.
